George is back..due to his owners work schedule change, she very sadly has had to give him up. See, George is a fabulous boy, housestrained, loves everyone and everything. very well behaved, but George does NOT like to be left alone very long. He cannot be crated. A great home for him would be where someone is home most of the time, or has access to doggie daycare for him if they need to be gone for the entire day. his mom says he can be left for a few hours at a time, but not over and over again. He just hangs out, behaving himself while you are shopping or working few hours.please consider George, who needs to be settled in a home to live out his happy life. there is no adoption fee for George. he is neutered and UTD on shots.
Parker is available for adoption. He is about 7 months old, beautiful dog! He is friendly and loving. he is black lab/pit bull mix, saved from high kill South Carolina. he does great with other dogs, and loves kids. He is housetrained, and does not even need to be crated. he is non destructive, and well behaved.He is timid around new people, but very sweet. He seems to really thrive in a home with other dogs....come meet this boy and see if he fits in your family! his adoption fee is $200 and he is UTD on all shots and neutered. blessings!!
HIGHWAY IS A BEAUTIFUL bulldog/pointer MIX. SHE WAS FOUND ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY, HENCE HER NAME, WITH HER SWEET 3 WEEK OLD PUPS...8 OF THEM! SHE WILL BE ARRIVING IN A FEW WEEKS WITH HER BABIES WHEN THEY ARE WEANED AND OLD ENOUGH TO TRAVEL....i AM TOLD BY HER FOSTER MOM SHE IS A WONDERFUL MOTHER AND VERY SWEET TO EVERYONE SHE MEETS....SHE WILL BE SPAYED AND READY FOR ADOPTION END OF JANUARY. UPDATE+++ Highway is here and has been lovingly renamed Valentine by her foster mom. She is such a love,full of energy, just a swee, kind soul. She has been thru so much..please give her a great life...she has had to watch 3 of her babies die from infection, she is such a good mom!! She is great with kids, and all animals, she is submissive and playful and kind!! what a good girl!
*UPDATE* "valentine" has been here a week now and is already learning basic commands. she is housetrained, and cratetrained. she is lovely , and her foster mom is just thrilled to have her. she is quiet, well behaved, and would make a great pet for any style family, she just loves everyone!!!she is so beautiful inside and out!
Cupid is an adorable little guy. his mama "Valentine" aka "highway" was found wandering the highway in Georgia with her newborn babies..they are some sort of American Bulldog/pointer mix. Very loving and sweet. Playful and chubby and ready to go home! They are not neutered, so their adoption fee will be $200 plus a refundable $100 spay/neut deposit (per order state of Maine) pups are UTD on age appropriate shots.come meet these little guys!~

Meet Jack, a sweet little guy saved with his mom and siblings from the streets of Georgia. He is happy, healthy and ready to love! update 2/16/10 these pups are amazingly smart! they have learned several basic commands and are almost totally housetrained. amazing dogs, will make great pets! come meet these babies!!
Rowdy Roo is a great guy, just a big dog looking for love! He is about 65 lbs, lab/possibly rhodesian/maybe hound mix. He is completely housetrained, non destructive, well behaved. He does not need to be crated, and can be left alone with no problems. he is about 4 years old. his family has had a lifestyle change, and can no longer afford his care, or has the time he needs. he obeys well, can be off leash and listens to voice commands, loves hiking, running, going for walks. He gets along with other dogs, but will chase cats/squirrels, those sort of things. he is too much of a boy to live with cats... he is a great boy, with lots of love and devotion to give. His adoption fee is $100
coming march 20th is this beautiful PUREBRED german shepard male. he will be 9 weeks old. mom is a white girl, dad is a standard brown/black. these were rescued from a crazy breeding situation in Mississippi. He will be fully vetted and neutered upon arrival. The adoption fee is $300...dont miss out on this crazy cute guy!

arriving march 20th is this beautiful PUREBRED german shepard puppy. they were rescued from a crazy breeder in Mississippi. the mom is white, the dad a standard brown/black big boy. she will be 9 weeks old when she gets here ,and all vetted and spayed. her adoption fee is $300. she won't be here long!!~
here is a beautiful little puppy. she is about 10-12 weeks old. the paperwork has her listed as a "mix" really no idea...but she is so cute, the pictures do not do her justice. she has the greatest face. she looks almost like an Akita in the face,little floppy high ears, and has like a labbish body...and a thick, soft coat of fur. she is just so gorgeous. a good sized puppy, which will probably turn into a med-large dog.
she is all UTD on shots, and spayed, and ready to go home with you. very cute!! her adoption fee is $300 come meet her! wow!~
Rocky is a wonderful boy... between 1-2 years old and probably a Golden Retriever/Boxer mix. He was left behind when his owners moved from their home. Rocky is very sweet and loving, gets along with the other dogs in his foster home. and enjoys riding in the car. He is a gentle dog and does well with kids. Rocky needs a forever home that will always love him and never abandon him again. Rocky is neutered, and is current on his Rabies, DHP/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines. He is HW negative and has been on prevention
Rocky is in foster care in North Carolina awaiting his forever home. he will be coming to Maine when there is a foster opening for him, or a forever home!

Sato was rescued from Puerto Rico, where dogs roam the streets looking for food an attention. He is a great dog, and his foster mom says he is oh so loyal! He loves his people, but is not great around the little kids. He's not mean, just growly and does not tolerate them too close to him. therefore a home with children over 8 years old would be best. He also can be choosy regarding the dogs he spends his time with. Some he loves, some he hates...no rhyme or reason..
He loves the water, loves car rides, loves gonig for walks. He is a nice, sweet dog that just needs a special, patient home. LOOK HOW CUTE HE IS! He is small, about 25 lbs, and housetrained, non destructive. nice, well behaved dog.

ok, so they're not dogs....but these two brothers need a home immidately! My wonderful daughter, has taken into her apartment anything I bring to her..that has included stray cats, rescue dogs, rescue rats and pretty much anything frurry needing rescue! she loves and cares for all these animals, and now these two boys (whom I dragged to her house after watching their momma get his by a car) need a new home. they are very shy, and quiet. they have always been indoor cats, they are both healthy and neutered, 4 years old.they are not crazy about big dogs, they are fine with children, but again, are shy, so hide most of the day. they are very loving and snuggly when the house is quiet though. My daughter only is allowed to have 1 animal where she lives, yet she never turned down anyone away that needed a warm place to stay. she was busted by the landlord and these boys have to go..please help her place these wonderful boys in a loving home. she is devistated to see them go.
